About This Role

The Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit at Sherman Hospital provides patient-centered care using evidence-based practice and clinical decision-making, leading efforts to ensure patient safety and positive patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience
• Deliver and coordinate patient-centered care across the continuum
• Support successful transition of patients to other healthcare delivery systems or their home communities
• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Adhere to established standards, policies and procedures

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current IL RN license
• Current AHA CPR
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and night shifts

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
