Join a dedicated team of Registered Nurses specializing in neuro, ortho, and pediatric care at UP Health System - Marquette. This role involves providing direct patient care, collaboration across disciplines, and patient/family education to make a remarkable difference in the lives of those served.

Responsibilities

• Perform plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatment
• Document patient care given
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family
• Assist patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation
• Collaborate as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs
• Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances
• Work as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient

Requirements

• State of Michigan RN license
• Associate degree from an accredited nursing school
• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited nursing school (Bachelor's degree preferred)
