Registered Nurse - Operating Room

About This Role

This role involves providing direct patient care as a Registered Nurse within the Operating Room, contributing to patient care, education, and research at a world-class academic health system.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate in assigned operating rooms under clinical supervision
• Rotate shifts and accept call as assigned
• Assist in the teaching activities of the Operating Room

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan
• Two (2) years recent, within the last three (3) years, RN circulating and scrubbing experience within at least two of the following adult surgical services: orthopaedics, general surgery, urology, plastics, or ophthalmology
• Ability to work with a non-responsive patient population
• Call commitment with 30 minute response time

Qualifications

• Two (2) years recent, within the last three (3) years, RN circulating and scrubbing experience within at least two of the following adult surgical services: orthopaedics, general surgery, urology, plastics, or ophthalmology.
