As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Medical Surgical/Telemetry department, you will facilitate, communicate, and collaborate with healthcare teams and patients to meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. You will promote optimal patient health, well-being, and safety through the nursing process, adhering to patient care standards and the State Nurse Practice Act.
Responsibilities
- Facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient
- Promote the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act
- Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values
Requirements
- Associates Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma
- Current state nursing license or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma
- One year experience preferred, or new graduate
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- One year experience
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (for experienced RNs)
