Registered Nurse Inpatient Rehab

About This Role

As a Registered Nurse in Inpatient Rehab, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. This role involves managing assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment while improving the quality of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients
• Meet the Standards of Practice for the Rehabilitation Unit
• Manage all assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment
• Participate in activities to plan, measure, assess and improve the quality of patient care
• Instruct patients/families regarding the disease process
• Responsible for additional admission paperwork specific to the Rehabilitation Unit
• Participate in weekly patient care conferences, as needed
• Assume the responsibility of charging the unit, as needed

Requirements

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License
• Current BLS Certification
• 1-year of clinical Rehab experience as a licensed RN (Rehabilitation, Med Surg, Long-term care, LTACH, LTC, Inpatient, IP)

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
• 1-year of clinical Rehab experience as a licensed RN
