Paramedic ED

About This Role

The ED Paramedic will collect and convey patient health information to the team and attending physician, performing duties under the License of the Physician Medical Director. This role involves active communication, documentation, and collaboration with the RN to provide for patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist the ED clinical team with providing top quality patient care within their scope of practice in the hospital setting.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement (CQI) initiatives.
• Maintain competence in skills and documentation.
• Utilize SBAR (Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation) for effective communication.
• Support and represent the facility’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values while performing the role.
• Attend meetings and in-services as required by departmental policy.
