Registered Nurse, Family Medicine

About This Role

This full-time Registered Nurse role involves providing direct patient care, conducting assessments, and educating patients within a family medicine outpatient setting. The position requires strong communication skills and collaboration with healthcare professionals, focusing on compassionate and comprehensive care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care and support, ensuring high nursing standards
• Conduct patient assessments, devise care plans, and assist in outpatient procedures with a focus on patient comfort and safety
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care
• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care
• Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations
• Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
• Provide phone-based triage support for a hybrid nursing team

Requirements

• Prior phone triage experience
• 0-1 year clinical nursing experience
• Proficient knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree Nursing Required And Bachelor's Degree Nursing Preferred
• 0-1 year of clinical nursing experience required, 1-2 years of ambulatory care or outpatient experience preferred
