As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT/BT) at ABA Centers of America, you will support individuals with autism by teaching daily living and social skills, implementing therapy sessions designed by a BCBA, and collecting data. Responsibilities
- Support individuals with autism in the home, community, or centers
- Teach daily living skills and social skills using effective behavior and evidence-based treatments
- Collect, organize, and summarize unbiased data during sessions
- Collaborate and participate in clinical team meetings and ongoing training
- Implement training and therapy sessions designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Proactively communicate and collaborate effectively with fellow RBTs, BCBAs, families, Executive Directors, and additional team members to support the client's needs
Requirements
- High-school diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years of age (21+ in NJ)
- Availability during after-school hours, weekends, and holidays
- Consistent, reliable transportation and car insurance
- Ability to maintain clean background/drug screenings and driving record
- BT: Ability to attend 40-hour RBT paid training and pass RBT exam within 45 days of hire
- RBT: Ability to attend required paid training program
Qualifications
- High-school diploma or equivalent
- Will train for entry-level candidates.
