This role is for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or ABA Child Interventionist to directly assist children with autism in honing vital skills like communication, social interaction, and self-care. You will collaborate with families to execute ABA-based behavior intervention plans, making a socially meaningful change in their lives.
Responsibilities
- Directly assist children with autism in honing vital skills (communication, social interaction, self-care)
- Collaborate with families to execute ABA based behavior intervention plans
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Passion for working with children
- Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to satisfactorily pass a criminal background check
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Entry-level position, prior experience with children is advantageous but not strictly required.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with children
- Interest in ongoing professional development
- Completed 40-hour RBT course (3rd Edition) or RBT certified for specific shifts
