Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

About This Role

Implement individualized treatment plans and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children with autism, tracking progress and fostering skill development in communication, social behavior, and daily living. This role involves collaboration with families and participation in continuous professional development.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Deliver Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy
• Track progress and collect data
• Foster skills development in communication, social behavior, and daily living
• Work closely with families to ensure care plans are effectively implemented
• Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions

Requirements

• Proficiency in implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy strategies and behavior intervention plans
• Strong skills in data collection, monitoring progress, and accurately documenting client information
• Effective communication and collaboration with clients, families, and team members
• Empathy, patience, and commitment to delivering high-quality care to children with autism
• Relevant certifications, including Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), or willingness to obtain certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to complete required training and meet state/regional guidelines for care providers

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field is a plus
