Registered Behavior Technician

About This Role

This role involves supporting individuals with autism, teaching daily living and social skills using evidence-based treatments, and collecting unbiased data. It also includes collaborating with clinical teams and implementing therapy sessions designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with autism in the home, community, or centers
• Teach daily living skills and social skills using effective behavior and evidence-based treatments
• Collect, organize, and summarize unbiased data during sessions
• Collaborate and participate in clinical team meetings and ongoing training
• Implement training and therapy sessions designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Proactively communicate and collaborate effectively with fellow RBTs, BCBAs, families, Executive Directors, and additional team members to support the client's needs

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Availability during after-school hours, weekends, and holidays
• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver's license
• Active car insurance
• Ability to maintain clear background, drug screening, and driving record requirements
• Must be available to provide services across all settings: school, home, center, and community
• Ability to attend required 40-hour RBT training program and successfully pass the RBT exam within 45 days of hire (for BTs)
• Ability to attend required training program (for RBTs)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Entry level, paid training provided.
