This role involves supporting individuals with autism, teaching daily living and social skills using evidence-based treatments, and collecting unbiased data. It also includes collaborating with clinical teams and implementing therapy sessions designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
Responsibilities
- Support individuals with autism in the home, community, or centers
- Teach daily living skills and social skills using effective behavior and evidence-based treatments
- Collect, organize, and summarize unbiased data during sessions
- Collaborate and participate in clinical team meetings and ongoing training
- Implement training and therapy sessions designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Proactively communicate and collaborate effectively with fellow RBTs, BCBAs, families, Executive Directors, and additional team members to support the client's needs
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Availability during after-school hours, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license
- Active car insurance
- Ability to maintain clear background, drug screening, and driving record requirements
- Must be available to provide services across all settings: school, home, center, and community
- Ability to attend required 40-hour RBT training program and successfully pass the RBT exam within 45 days of hire (for BTs)
- Ability to attend required training program (for RBTs)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Entry level, paid training provided.
