About This Role

Lead and manage top accounts within the utility sector in Northern CA by building strong client relationships, driving revenue growth, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This role requires strategic thinking and a proven track record in account management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive account plans for assigned strategic accounts, aligning with OSS business objectives
  • Develop and maintain relationships with manufacturers/suppliers and end customers, from individual contributors up through VP/Director levels
  • Proactively maintain existing business and identify new business opportunities within existing accounts
  • Conduct regular business reviews with customers and manufacturers to assess performance, address concerns, and identify areas for improvement
  • Lead internal multi-disciplinary teams involved with supporting customer business, including assembled/engineered products, tools & safety, commodities/warehouse/logistics/supply chain to achieve goals and exceed customer expectations
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate key accounts and drive revenue growth
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and resolving issues promptly
  • Proactively identify and address potential customer challenges and risks
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of professionals to maximize performance and productivity
  • Collaborate with other departments to align regional strategies with overall company goals
  • Communicate effectively and consistently to the customer, by leading in-person and Teams meetings, organizing and deploying project kickoffs, providing sales and inventory reporting, attending customer training, marketing and social events
