About This Role

The Chief Retail Officer leads and optimizes the credit union's retail operations, driving success through effective leadership, strategic planning, and a strong focus on member experience and operational excellence. This role oversees retail operations, consumer lending, deposit products, and contact center services, ensuring strategic alignment and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead and optimize the credit union's retail operations
• Oversee and drive the success of retail operations, consumer lending, deposit products and services, and contact center services
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance member experience, drive revenue growth, and achieve production/sales goals
• Ensure operational efficiency across all retail and consumer lending functions
• Develop and execute a comprehensive retail strategy aligned with strategic initiatives and business objectives
• Build, lead, and maintain high-performing teams
• Provide strong operational oversight, ensuring effective follow-up and consistent execution
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements for consumer lending activities
• Work closely with compliance, risk management, and audit partners to meet regulatory expectations
• Lead efforts to provide exceptional member service through innovative products and delivery channels
• Drive service and sales efforts by promoting a success-oriented and accountable environment
• Foster the "United For You" service promise and a culture that encourages diversity and independent thinking
• Attend monthly Board of Director meetings
