About This Role

Serve as the initial point of contact for visitors and manage administrative tasks at a leading accounting firm's Houston office. This role involves handling reception duties, mail, meeting coordination, and various clerical and administrative support functions.

Responsibilities

  • Act as first point of contact for visitors, greeting them politely
  • Manage multi-line phone system and redirect calls
  • Receive, distribute, and process daily mail and packages
  • Aid in coordination of meetings and conference calls, including room reservations
  • Assist with clerical duties including printing, scanning, filing and faxing documents
  • Collaborate with personnel on administrative tasks, projects and initiatives
  • Process FedEx and courier packages through online platforms
  • Process USPS outgoing mail and manage postage account
  • Order lunch for staff and events as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and order of the Café area, refrigerators, and coolers
  • Order and restock office supplies and snacks
  • Maintain the firm expense report
  • Create weekly time reports for supervisors and partners
  • Obtain and enter new client data

Requirements

  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude
  • Excellent communication skills

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or relevant work experience
