Receiver/Stocker

About This Role

As a Receiver/Stocker at Lowe's, you will ensure the store is clean, safe, and organized by accurately receiving freight, stocking shelves, and managing merchandise. You will unload deliveries, handle equipment and hazardous materials, and prepare your area for daily operations. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient store flow and customer readiness.

Responsibilities

• Deliver SMART customer service by assisting customers and answering questions.
• Stock merchandise by unloading freight, down-stocking, organizing shelves, and setting up pallets.
• Support store operations by verifying deliveries, completing dock prep, and using equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment by following proper procedures for hazardous materials, equipment use, and housekeeping.
• Operate store equipment including scanners, Zebra phones, and balers.
• Use the Orders App to pick and stage Flatbed Delivery orders for Pro Fulfillment Stores.
• Load delivery orders, ensuring quality, accuracy, and safe loading practices for Pro Fulfillment Stores.
• Rotate orders by delivery date and resolve customer order issues for Pro Fulfillment Stores.
• Proactively communicate with customers to ensure delivery satisfaction for Pro Fulfillment Stores.
• Execute Delivery Readiness best practices for Pro Fulfillment Stores.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience

Nice to Have

• 3 months experience operating forklift/power equipment
• 6 months experience in a warehouse performing inventory handling and stocking
