Receiver/Stocker - Day

About This Role

This role is responsible for maintaining store readiness for customers by accurately processing freight, stocking shelves, and organizing merchandise and top stock. The role involves physical tasks like unloading deliveries and safely handling equipment and hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

• Deliver SMART customer service by assisting customers, answering questions, and offering support during projects
• Stock merchandise by unloading freight, down-stocking, organizing shelves, and setting up pallets
• Support store operations by verifying deliveries, completing dock prep
• Maintain a safe, clean environment by following proper procedures for hazardous materials, equipment use, and housekeeping
• Operate store equipment including scanners, Zebra phones, balers, and other tools
• Pick and stage Flatbed Delivery orders using the Orders App (for Pro Fulfillment Stores)
• Load delivery orders, ensuring quality, accuracy, and safe loading practices (for Pro Fulfillment Stores)
• Rotate orders by delivery date and resolve customer order issues (for Pro Fulfillment Stores)
• Proactively communicate with customers to ensure delivery satisfaction (for Pro Fulfillment Stores)
• Execute Delivery Readiness best practices (for Pro Fulfillment Stores)

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience

Nice to Have

• 3 months Experience operating forklift/power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment
• 6 months Experience in a warehouse performing inventory handling and stocking
