Receiver/Stocker - Day

About This Role

The Receiver/Stocker at Lowe's ensures the store is clean, safe, and ready for customers by accurately receiving freight, stocking shelves, and organizing merchandise and top stock. This role involves physical tasks like unloading deliveries, safely handling equipment, and maintaining a well-prepped area for daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers, answer questions, and offer support with projects
• Unload freight, down-stock, organize shelves, and set up pallets
• Verify deliveries, complete dock prep, and use equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts
• Follow proper procedures for hazardous materials, equipment use, and housekeeping
• Operate store equipment including scanners, Zebra phones, and balers
• Pick and stage Flatbed Delivery orders using the Orders App (Pro Fulfillment Stores)
• Load delivery orders, ensuring quality, accuracy, and safe loading practices (Pro Fulfillment Stores)
• Communicate proactively with customers to ensure delivery satisfaction (Pro Fulfillment Stores)

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience

Nice to Have

• 3 months experience operating forklift/power equipment
• 6 months experience in a warehouse performing inventory handling and stocking
