Reach Operator

About This Role

The Reach Operator is responsible for accurately scanning and storing incoming product pallets in designated freezer/warehouse locations, ensuring optimal product levels within assigned aisles. This role involves utilizing an RF Warehouse Computer System and maintaining equipment.

Responsibilities

• Navigate RF based computer system to scan pallets to proper warehouse locations
• Replenish picking locations as needed throughout the day to ensure product availability
• Maintain proper date rotation of products to ensure FIFO inventory levels
• Maintain organization within assigned aisles to minimize mis-picks by selectors
• Report all damaged product to immediate supervisor
• Select customer orders as needed/required by floor supervisor
• Operate all machinery in a safe manner

Requirements

• Ability to repeatedly lift, push, pull, or reach above shoulder height heavy objects weighing up to forty (40) pounds
• Ability to read, write, and count for order fulfillment and inventory accuracy

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.

• Two years experience operating an electric fork lift, pallet jack, and reach machine
