R&D Product Engineering Support

About This Role

Support R&D and Manufacturing teams in prototype planning and execution, including purchases, inventory analysis, and kit preparation. Partner with R&D and New Product Introduction Supply Chain groups to successfully introduce new products into worldwide production, focusing on developing and executing reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality manufacturing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Participate in prototype reviews with engineering team members
• Support R&D team members with SKU/BOM design documentation requirements
• Participate as a member of project team of other product engineers to develop and execute reliable, cost effective and high-quality manufacturing solutions for products from new- product introduction through end of lifecycle
• Implement specified changes to product or process to reduce defects, improve quality, and lower costs
• Develop understanding of and relationship with internal and outsourced partners for product development and manufacturing

Requirements

• Associates degree, or bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or equivalent work experiences
• Typically 1-4 years’ experience
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language
• Highly motivated team member to work within R/D organization
