R&D Engineering Intern

About This Role

The R&D Engineering Intern will gain meaningful work experience by collaborating on vital business projects within the organization, under the supervision of experienced managers and mentors. This role provides exposure to real-world situations, business functions, and opportunities to network with company management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with professionals from multiple departments on projects
• Network with and learn from different levels of company management
• Receive periodic and candid feedback on job performance
• Ask questions and regularly check for understanding to support development
• Participate in orientation sessions and networking events for personal and professional advancement
• Work as part of a team on projects requiring innovation and strategy
• Prepare and present a summary of learnings and experiences to management and peers

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree
• Ability to commit to a full-time (40 hours per week), on-site internship for 10–12 weeks
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s or graduate degree in engineering (e.g., mechanical or materials science)
• None explicitly required beyond academic pursuit

Nice to Have

• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Completed second year of study at the college level (undergraduate students)
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering, including mechanical or materials science
