Manufacturing Team Member II

About This Role

The Manufacturing Team Member II performs assembly and inspection operations and processes for medical devices. This role involves setting up equipment, assembling components, inspecting parts for quality, and completing required manufacturing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Integer Core Beliefs, Behavioral Based Safety process and Integer Associate Quality Policy.
• Set up equipment needed for assembly/inspection as per Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPI’s) and Quality Work Instructions (QWI’s).
• Assemble component parts as per print, utilizing both manual and automatic machine operation.
• Visually and/or dimensionally inspect parts and/or completed assemblies for conformance to specifications.
• Complete required Device History Records and other manufacturing documentation per Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Participate in team activities focusing on process/product improvement, problem resolution, and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Expand skill base through on-the-job training, cross-training and classroom instruction.

Requirements

• Ability to read, comprehend and follow detailed instructions.
• Ability to recognize defects in workmanship.
• Proficiency in assembly operations.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 1 year of Integer related work experience and/or 2-4 years light assembly experience or in a regulated industry; medical device experience preferred.

Nice to Have

• Medical device experience.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Familiarity with microscopes and measuring devices.
• Previous light assembly experience in a regulated industry with Medical devices.
