Manufacturing Team Member I

About This Role

This role involves developing competencies in assembly and inspection operations for manufacturing processes. The incumbent will follow written procedures to meet production and quality requirements, seeking out opportunities for cross-training.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Integer Core Beliefs, Behavioral Based Safety process and Integer Associate Quality Policy.
• Set up equipment needed for assembly/inspection as per Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPI’s) and Quality Work Instructions (QWI’s).
• Understand own tasks and how they relate to others in their team.
• Assemble component parts as per print, utilizing both manual and automatic machine operation.
• Visually and/or dimensionally inspect parts and/or completed assemblies for conformance to specifications.
• Identify and escalate quality non-conformances.
• Complete required Device History Records and other manufacturing documentation per Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Participate in team activities focusing on process/product improvement, problem resolution, and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Expand skill base through on the job training, cross training and classroom instruction.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• 0-1 years light assembly experience or in a regulated industry
• Ability to read, comprehend and follow detailed instruction
• Ability to recognize defects in workmanship
• Demonstrate competency in assembly processes
• Proficient in assembly operations

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent
• 0-1 years light assembly experience or in a regulated industry required; medical device experience preferred.

Nice to Have

• Medical device experience
• Ability to read blueprints
• Ability to use microscopes and measuring devices
