Manufacturing Team Member I

About This Role

As a Manufacturing Team Member I, you will be responsible for assembling and inspecting medical devices according to detailed instructions, utilizing both manual and automatic machine operation. You will contribute to product quality and process improvement within a closely supervised team environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment needed for assembly/inspection as per Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPI's) and Quality Work Instructions (QWI's)
• Assemble component parts as per print, utilizing both manual and automatic machine operation
• Visually and/or dimensionally inspect parts and/or completed assemblies for conformance to specifications
• Identify and escalate quality non-conformances
• Complete required Device History Records and other manufacturing documentation per Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
• Package assemblies for shipment
• Participate in team activities focusing on process/product improvement, problem resolution, and customer satisfaction
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Ability to read, comprehend and follow detailed instructions
• Ability to recognize obvious defects in workmanship

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent
• 0-2 years related work experience

Nice to Have

• Ability to read blueprints
• Familiarity with microscopes and measuring devices
• Previous light assembly experience in a regulated industry with Medical devices
