About This Role

Utilize ionizing radiation to create diagnostic imaging radiographs for various anatomical areas and age groups, while providing excellent patient care and contributing to a healthcare team.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain Diagnostic Images for Interpretation
  • Understand and apply guest relation skills following Patient and Families First Principles
  • Work consistently as a team member, assisting others
  • Follow Infection Control practices utilizing aseptic techniques and observing Universal precautions and patient safety standards
  • Possess a positive work ethic to enhance teamwork in a fast-paced environment and accountability for actions

Requirements

  • Graduation from a school of radiologic technology or equivalent
  • Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology or registry eligible (must attempt first exam within 6 months, 3 attempts within 18 months)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrates critical thinking skills, ingenuity, creativity, and professionalism
  • Demonstrates understanding with all age-appropriate guidelines for communication, positioning, radiation exposures and radiation protection
  • Excellent attendance record

Qualifications

  • Graduation from a school of radiologic technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience
