About This Role

The Quality Technician serves a critical role in supporting the Quality Management System, ensuring Golden Aluminum processes are controlled and continually improved, and working directly with operations personnel and occasionally customers.

Responsibilities

Support the effectiveness of the Golden Aluminum Quality Management System (QMS) to achieve GAI Quality Objectives
Perform receiving inspections including reviews of certificates of compliance
Conduct daily disposition and investigation of product held for quality review
Ensure proper documentation, communication, and record keeping
Perform internal procedural and process audits
Participate in External Audits
Calibrate measuring and monitoring systems
Test and retest product, equipment, or other parameters as assigned
Participate in Quality Department weekend coverage as assigned
Fully support and cooperate with Golden Aluminum EHS procedures and practices
