Quality Technician

About This Role

This Quality Technician role focuses on ensuring top-quality products in electronics manufacturing by managing the Material Review Board process, inspecting components, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement quality improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Material Review Board (MRB) process, reviewing and disposing of nonconforming materials efficiently
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to investigate issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions
• Track and report MRB metrics and trends to support continuous quality improvement
• Inspect and evaluate electronic components and assemblies for conformance to specifications
• Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and customer requirements
• Perform root cause analysis and assist in corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and nonconformance reports

Requirements

• 2+ years in quality assurance, manufacturing, or engineering environments
• Hands-on experience with MRB processes, nonconformance handling, and root cause analysis
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Proficiency with ERP and quality management systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Knowledge of ESD handling and industry standards (ISO 9001, AS9100)

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field preferred
• 2+ years in quality assurance, manufacturing, or engineering environments

Nice to Have

• Understanding of GD&T and technical drawings
• Experience in aerospace, automotive, or medical devices
• Skilled with measurement tools, microscopes, and inspection equipment
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams
