About This Role

The Quality Technician will ensure products meet the highest quality and safety standards by conducting inspections, analyzing test data, and providing improvement recommendations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect products at various stages of the manufacturing process to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards
  • Use measurement tools and basic math to accurately measure and evaluate product dimensions and specifications
  • Maintain a high-level of visual awareness to detect any defects or inconsistencies in products
  • Identify quality inconsistencies and promptly report them to the appropriate department for corrective action
  • Develop and maintain company inspection records, including documentation of processes and procedures
  • Record, analyze, and draft quality reports on test data
  • Ensure that all test equipment is properly calibrated and functioning correctly
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify possible areas for improvement in quality processes
  • Monitor production processes to ensure that quality testing procedures do not hinder production timelines
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while achieving productivity and quality goals

Requirements

  • High-level of visual awareness and attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of basic mathematical concepts
  • Ability to analyze and interpret technical information accurately
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient in MS Office, and Excel, particularly in drafting reports and collating data
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively
  • Outstanding attendance

Qualifications

  • Highschool Diploma/GED
  • Entry-level; 1-2 years of experience as an inspection or quality technician preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Some College
  • 1-2 years of experience as an inspection or quality technician
  • Previous experience working with measurement tools
