About This Role

Develop, manage, and maintain corporate relationships and contract oversight with established government customers. This role focuses on growing sales and profit within assigned programs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop enterprise and account level strategies for profitable sales growth within assigned programs
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for improvement within assigned programs with assistance from various functional areas
  • Manage the development of solutions and processes to existing problems and anticipate potential future problems
  • Prepare and assemble RFQ proposals that address customer needs within established and new customers
  • Develop and foster a team environment for all project members
  • Interpret sales goals and initiatives to establish priorities and timelines in a cost-effective manner
  • Manage implementation and evaluate progress of key projects within assigned programs
  • Participate in management meetings and provide input for all government projects under discussion
  • Develop training and collateral material as applicable for assigned programs
  • Manage successful utilization of assigned programs with assistance from the field

Requirements

  • 7+ years business experience
  • Direct strategic selling experience with the Federal Government Community
  • Demonstrable familiarity with Government Contractors and GSA
  • Familiarity with the procurement process, specifically on major Federal Government contracts
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet and database software
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Knowledge of project management techniques and processes
  • Business analysis experience and ability to identify and implement improvement opportunities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent
  • Minimum of seven years of business experience, with direct strategic selling experience with the Federal Government Community
