About This Role

The Public Area Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of designated public areas within the hotel, ensuring a positive guest experience. This role involves a variety of cleaning tasks and assisting guests when needed.

Responsibilities

Clean designated areas including restrooms, public areas, hallways, stairwells, elevators, offices and banquet/meeting/conference rooms
Dust and polish furniture and fixtures
Vacuum, mop, sweep, and shampoo carpets
Wash windows
Empty carts of soiled linens
Clean/wax floors
Remove and dispose of trash, insects and debris
Empty ashtrays
Greet guests in a friendly manner
Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects (e.g., mattress flipping, furniture moves)
Assist in delivering guest requests and in cleaning guest rooms, as needed

Qualifications

Previous hotel housekeeping experience and customer service experience preferred
