Public Area Attendant

About This Role

The Public Area Attendant ensures the resort's common areas are clean and well-maintained, meeting Great Wolf and guest standards. This role is crucial for creating a positive guest experience within the Lodge.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, dust, and clean public areas including floors, carpets, restrooms, waterpark, elevators, windows, and doors
• Ensure elevator areas are free of debris
• Empty waste receptacles in common areas
• Read and comprehend material safety data sheets for all chemicals and use them according to directions
• Report maintenance issues in public areas
• Operate trash compactor and cardboard baler
• Communicate with guests in a professional and courteous manner
• Deliver items to guestrooms as requested and return them to storage as necessary
• Assist with guestroom cleaning as needed

Requirements

• Willingness to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and/or Holidays
• Successful completion of criminal background check and drug screen
• Proven ability to work independently with limited supervision

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with the handling of cleaning chemicals
• Excellent customer service skills
• Previous housekeeping or general cleaning experience
