Project Manager – Industrial Construction

About This Role

This Project Manager will lead complex industrial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and financial performance. They will act as the primary liaison for Owners, Architects, and Engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead industrial projects from preconstruction through closeout, owning cost, schedule, quality, and safety performance
• Act as the primary point of contact for Owners, Architects, and Engineers
• Manage project setup and execution in Procore, including budgets, RFIs, submittals, drawings, and procurement tracking
• Support preconstruction efforts, including scheduling, trade coordination, and precon deliverables
• Prepare and manage Owner contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and pay applications
• Collaborate with the Superintendent to oversee scheduling, sequencing, logistics, and manpower planning
• Lead weekly Owner and subcontractor meetings and provide detailed project reporting
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate permitting, inspections, and project closeout documentation
• Mentor and support Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and junior team members

Requirements

• 5+ years of Project Management experience in industrial construction
• Proven ground-up industrial project experience (manufacturing, distribution, automotive, or food & beverage required)
• Strong knowledge of concrete, structural steel, and heavy MEPF systems
• Proficiency with Procore and project accounting software

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 5+ years of Project Management experience in industrial construction

Nice to Have

• Experience working within active plants or operational campuses preferred
