Program Manager with Security Clearance

About This Role

Manage the business and technical operations of a federal government contract, serving as the primary interface with government authorities and overseeing project execution for supply acquisition and logistics.

Responsibilities

• Manage the business and technical operations associated with the day to day contracting effort
• Serve as the primary interface and Point of Contact (POC) with Government program authorities and representatives on program or project and contract administration issues
• Supervise program or project operation by developing management procedures and controls
• Plan and direct project execution
• Monitor and report progress
• Coordinate and expedite flow of material and equipment for both shipping and receiving efforts
• Direct and coordinate the activities of other shipping and receiving personnel
• Provide guidance in handling of unusual and non-routine problems

Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
• MS or MA degree in business or a related field and ten (10) years of experience (substitutions allowed for lower degrees with more experience)
• Minimum of four (4) years' Navy supply experience
• Minimum of two (2) years' supervisory experience in a supply support environment
• Capable of training subordinates in processing requisitions, receipt and shipping of material and equipment, and inventory and control of accountable property
• Working knowledge of Navy supply procedures, systems, programs, policies, and HAZMAT handling
• Ability to lift items weighing up to forty (40) pounds

Qualifications

• MS or MA degree in business or a related field
• 10 years of experience with an MS/MA degree, or 14 years with a BS/BA degree, or 16 years with an AS/AA degree. A minimum of four years' Navy supply experience, with at least two years supervisory experience in a supply support environment.
