Sr. Program Manager

About This Role

This Senior Program Manager will execute programs within defined constraints, engage with executive-level management, and facilitate complex issue resolution for Mercor. The role involves overseeing delivery of systems and enhancements, managing project scope, and monitoring progress across projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage program execution within defined constraints of scope, quality, time, and budget, addressing moderate-probability and moderate-impact risk factors
• Contribute to program-level strategic planning and engage with executive-level management
• Facilitate complex issue resolution
• Oversee internal exempt and matrixed employees and contractors
• Ensure delivery of systems and enhancements that meet specified requirements
• Provide oversight of project scope definition and management, including requirements gathering, documentation, time estimation, and project schedule development
• Monitor and maintain progress reports across projects
• Ensure consistent follow-up with stakeholders to drive execution and accountability
• Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate teams or leadership to ensure prompt resolution and maintain project momentum

• Demonstrated proficiency in project estimation, scheduling, and tracking
• Expertise in customer interaction and management
• Proven competencies in people management and team development
• Strong aptitude for assessing risk and applying management principles
• Experience in delivering technology and business application solutions
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle
