Manage all aspects of a contract providing support for Navy Conversion Projects, ensuring efficient allocation of resources, timely completion of aircraft, and compliance with policies. This role involves supervising staff, interacting with government officials, and monitoring performance.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the authority for the Contractor on all matters relating to the daily operation of this contract
- Efficiently manage the allocation of Contractor resources to support the Navy Conversion Project
- Track and maintain accurate data concerning available hours for overtime and regular working hours for the Navy Conversion Project and PDM
- Oversee the management of contract staff to ensure the timely completion of Navy Conversion aircraft
- Ensure Contractor employees are following all applicable ALC instructions and policies
- Manage and implement the contract by organizing, directing, coordinating, and implementing all activities
- Supervise contractor staff to include addressing personnel issues, generating assignments and setting priorities
- Interact with Government program officials regarding issues and status of tasks
- Provide daily attendance reporting (PTO and call out) within one (1) hour of schedule shift start
- Attend weekly full-kit and production meeting as well as daily morning task meetings
- Ensure new hire orientation is complete along with ALC familiarization tour
- Coordinate financial and staffing resources
- Monitor and analyze performance data and report results to the Government
- Ensure Contractor employees complete all mandatory training requirements as required
- Review and validate employee timesheets
Requirements
- Minimum of five (5) years in a supervisory position
- Ten (10) years' experience and knowledge of aircraft overhaul trades and labor work
- Working knowledge of OSHA requirements
- Proficient personal computer skills
- Strong working knowledge of standard Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
- 10 years' experience and knowledge of aircraft overhaul trades and labor work, with a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory position.
