About This Role

Develop, organize, and implement comprehensive student engagement and outreach programs for the Office of Global Education. This role involves managing program logistics, securing external grants, and evaluating program effectiveness for Kennesaw State University.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with affiliated faculty and staff to assess, pursue, and manage external grant opportunities.
  • Manage international partnerships, agreements, and grants sponsored programs in support of Global Education.
  • Work collaboratively with KSU Office of Research staff and contract grant writers to address pre- and post-award development and reporting.
  • Manage program logistics for department initiatives, including contract negotiations with service providers.
  • Manage program budgets when applicable.
  • Conduct research on key program elements, including cultural components and program participants and guests.
  • Oversee the student Global Ambassador program in collaboration with Global Education program staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 3 years of related work experience
  • Knowledge and skills of the grant development process, including pre-and post-award development and reporting requirements
  • Hands-on experience with budgeting, planning, and scheduling

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in related field
  • Three (3) years of related work experience

Nice to Have

  • Advanced degree in a related field
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively
  • Knowledge of international programming and international education initiatives
