Program Manager, Student Engagement & Outreach in the Office of Global Education

About This Role

This role involves developing, organizing, and implementing comprehensive programs within the Office of Global Education, with a focus on student engagement and outreach. The Program Manager will also be responsible for securing and managing external grants and international partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with faculty and staff to assess, pursue, and manage external grant opportunities, international partnerships, agreements, and sponsored programs in support of Global Education.
• Collaborate with KSU Office of Research staff and contract grant writers for pre- and post-award development and reporting.
• Manage program logistics for department initiatives, including contract negotiations with service providers and managing program budgets.
• Conduct research on key program elements, cultural components, and program participants/guests to positively impact success.
• Oversee the student Global Ambassador program in collaboration with Global Education program staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Three (3) years of related work experience
• Knowledge and skills of the grant development process, including pre-and post-award development and reporting
• Hands-on experience with budgeting, planning, and scheduling
• Ability to think strategically and creatively
• Knowledge of international programming and international education initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in related field
• Three (3) years of related work experience
