About This Role

Lead a multi-year initiative to strengthen the electrical grid across the Gulf South region, overseeing planning, budgeting, stakeholder coordination, and performance tracking.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of resiliency projects, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, construction, procurement, and regulatory compliance
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between company and utility partners, maintaining strong client relationships
  • Monitor project milestones and deliverables, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies
  • Prepare and present regular status reports to internal leadership and external stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
  • Manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in program delivery

Requirements

  • 7+ years experience in Program or Project Manager (preferably in the electric utility industry or a related field)
  • In-depth knowledge of resiliency planning, grid modernization, and utility regulations
  • Demonstrated success in managing financials, large-scale, multi-disciplinary projects
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques
  • Excellent Customer and Executive Management relationship skills
  • Ability to make informed decisions under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and facilitate focused and cross-functional meetings and calls
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and environmental standards in the electric utility industry

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or related field
  • 7+ years in Program or Project Manager (preferably in the electric utility industry or a related field)
