Lead a multi-year initiative to strengthen the electrical grid across the Gulf South region, overseeing planning, budgeting, stakeholder coordination, and performance tracking.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of resiliency projects, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, construction, procurement, and regulatory compliance
- Serve as the primary point of contact between company and utility partner, maintaining strong client relationships
- Monitor project milestones and deliverables, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies
- Prepare and present regular status reports to internal leadership and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in program delivery
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Program or Project Management, preferably in the electric utility industry
- In-depth knowledge of resiliency planning, grid modernization, and utility regulations
- Demonstrated success in managing financials and large-scale, multi-disciplinary projects
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques
- Excellent Customer and Executive Management relationship skills
- Ability to make informed decisions under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and facilitate focused and cross-functional meetings and calls
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and environmental standards in the electric utility industry
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or related field
- 7+ years in Program or Project Manager (preferably in the electric utility industry or a related field)
