About This Role

The Program Manager for the Office of the Provost oversees academic policy, course evaluations, and faculty processes, ensuring compliance and smooth operations. This role involves managing projects, providing support to faculty and leadership, and advancing the visibility and values of the Provost's Office.

Responsibilities

  • Administer faculty processes outlined in collective bargaining agreements
  • Serve as the primary administrator and strategic lead for Interfolio
  • Provide training, guidance, and support to faculty and academic leadership
  • Support Office of the Provost initiatives, recruitments, events, and special projects

Requirements

  • High School diploma
  • 2 years of experience or equivalent
  • Excellent project management, planning, attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
  • Ability to design and lead events, communications, and projects
  • Demonstrated negotiation, conflict resolution, critical analysis, and sound judgment
  • Strong team orientation, professionalism, discretion, accountability, and willingness to learn
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365
  • Demonstrated curiosity in using generative AI to improve processes and efficiency

Qualifications

  • High School diploma and two (2) years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2+ years of experience in program management or equivalent

Nice to Have

  • Comprehensive knowledge of UM structure and protocols
  • A degree in business, communication, education or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Experience in higher education or a similar work environment
