About This Role

Manage the overall operations, activities, and staff of an assigned program site within direct areas of responsibility at Bancroft, a non-profit human services organization. This role involves supervision of direct reports, ensuring operational integrity, and active participation in hiring and termination processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision and oversight to direct reports within direct areas of responsibility
  • Manage the overall operations, activities, and environment of the program site for all shifts, if applicable
  • Actively participate in the applicant hiring and termination process, including interviewing and screening candidates
  • Aid in the resolution of problematic or sensitive situations, encouraging independence of persons served
  • Complete daily, monthly, and quarterly paperwork for submission to program management and compliance
  • Review required paperwork completed by direct reports for accuracy and maintain all documentation as required by state regulations
  • Ensure the overall integrity of behavior and/or medical records and files for persons served
  • Develop, coordinate, and monitor the IPP, IDT and/or TDT process, ensuring timely implementation of appropriate treatment plans
  • Evaluate prospective persons served at screening meetings and recommend appropriate staffing levels
  • Maintain effective communications with persons served, parents, guardians, healthcare personnel, and coworkers

Requirements

  • BA in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech/Language Pathology, Social Work, Recreation, Art, Dance, Music, Physical Education, Nutrition, Sociology, Special Education, Rehabilitation Counseling, or Psychology
  • 1+ year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or brain injuries
  • High School diploma or equivalent with two-three years in Human Services or related field if no BA

Qualifications

  • BA in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech/Language Pathology, Social Work, Recreation, Art, Dance, Music, Physical Education, Nutrition, Sociology, Special Education, Rehabilitation Counseling, or Psychology
  • At least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or brain injuries, or two-three years in the Human Services field with prior management experience for high school diploma holders.
