This role involves managing the schedule and implementation of specific data center projects, coordinating interdepartmental activities, and ensuring project completion on schedule. The Program Manager will lead complex technical programs, deliver new capacity, and mitigate risks and blockers for Oracle's cloud infrastructure goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage the schedule and implementation for specific data center projects involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on delivering new capacity
- Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project on schedule
- Manage projects from Delivery Build planning process through handover to customers, encompassing planning, design, material ordering, networking, transportation, build, and handover
- Track and escalate issues across all work streams through partners and stakeholders
- Lead complex technical programs, plan, coordinate, and deliver enterprise-scale modernization or migration programs aligning with OCI's strategic goals
- Align and execute initiatives across engineering, product, support, and field teams through cross-functional collaboration
- Provide consistent program updates, conduct executive briefings, and manage global field expectations through stakeholder communication
- Create and deliver documentation such as program roadmaps, solution guides, and workshops to support global adoption and troubleshooting (technical enablement)
- Track KPIs, dependencies, and risk; drive resolution and ensure delivery milestones are met on time and within scope through metrics & risk management
- Conduct post-mortems, capture lessons learned, and partner with product and engineering teams to improve future program execution for operational excellence
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in technical program management, solutions architecture, or related leadership roles
- Proven program delivery experience in cloud infrastructure, database modernization, or large-scale enterprise migration projects
- Cross-geography experience, coordinating globally distributed teams and stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills, including delivering executive updates and leading workshops
- Metrics-driven mindset, balancing delivery, customer satisfaction, and operational outcomes
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in technical program management, solutions architecture, or related leadership roles
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Oracle Exadata, OCI, Autonomous DB, AWS, or hybrid cloud
