Join a regional law firm in St. Louis, MO, as a Products Liability Associate, focusing on defending product liability cases, collaborating on strategy, and representing clients in hearings and at trial.
Responsibilities
- Draft responsive pleadings and manage written discovery
- Take and defend depositions
- Collaborate with supervising attorneys on case evaluation and strategy
- Work with expert witnesses
- Represent clients in hearings and negotiations
- Prepare cases for trial
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients and outside counsel
Requirements
- 3+ years of litigation experience
- Strong case management and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to take ownership of files and work collaboratively in a team environment
- Commitment to delivering high-quality legal work and client service
Qualifications
- 3+ years of litigation experience, preferably with a focus on products liability
Nice to Have
- Experience defending product liability cases in automotive products, toxic chemicals, manufacturing equipment, and trucking
