Join a St. Louis-based law firm as a Corporate/Transactional Litigation Attorney, managing a mix of litigation and deal-related work. This role involves comprehensive legal research, drafting legal documents, and collaborating with clients across various practice areas.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive legal research using platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw
- Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, contracts, memoranda, and transactional materials
- Manage matters spanning real estate, banking, corporate, and M&A
- Assist in negotiations and settlement discussions to achieve client objectives
- Review and analyze documents and evidence to prepare for litigation and transactional proceedings
- Maintain organized files and ensure compliance with court deadlines and internal procedures
- Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to develop effective legal strategies
- Stay current on relevant laws and regulations impacting multiple practice areas
Requirements
- JD from an accredited law school
- Active bar membership in good standing
- Prior experience in litigation and/or transactional law
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school
- 5+ years experience in litigation and/or transactional law
Nice to Have
- Experience across real estate, banking, corporate, and M&A
- Partial book of business ($200+)
