Oversee day-to-day operations for a screen printing and apparel decoration business, driving production, sales, and marketing initiatives, and building a strong team across multiple departments.
Responsibilities
- Set and track sales goals, working closely with ownership to drive revenue growth
- Manage marketing initiatives to increase brand visibility and attract new customers
- Oversee production across departments (screen printing, embroidery, heat press, artwork, and sales) operating in two facilities
- Coordinate effectively between sales and art departments to ensure accurate, timely project delivery
- Help determine lead times and scheduling based on workload and available resources
- Order supplies, maintain inventory, and negotiate with vendors to reduce costs
- Balance workloads across office and production teams to ensure efficiency
- Supervise staff performance, keeping employees on-task and working to their full potential
- Train, mentor, and guide new employees, fostering professional growth and strong work habits
- Implement quality control procedures to minimize errors and rework
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in operations management, preferably in screen printing, apparel decoration, or a related manufacturing/production environment
- Strong understanding of production processes, scheduling, and workflow optimization
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams
- Customer service experience with the ability to handle escalated issues effectively
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Proficiency with basic business software (Excel, Word, email systems)
- Negotiation and vendor management experience
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in operations management, preferably in screen printing, apparel decoration, or a related manufacturing/production environment.
