This role involves selling Ricoh's full suite of hardware, software, and professional services to commercial print and enterprise accounts. The executive will be responsible for expanding market share, winning new business, and managing the entire sales cycle within a defined geographic territory.
Responsibilities
- Spearhead RICOH's penetration and expansion in assigned geographic territory and accounts
- Win new business by aligning customer's business goals with Ricoh's Solutions portfolio
- Develop strategies to penetrate zero base account opportunities through reference selling
- Manage, protect, and develop territory base by analyzing and developing solutions for customer needs
- Acquire and grow client base by selling incremental solutions and services within new accounts
- Meet or exceed gross profit expectations within assigned territory
- Prepare and present benchmark demonstrations, proposals, and value propositions
- Retain and grow current client base through incremental sales and customer satisfaction
- Take ownership for the resolution of any ongoing issues within assigned accounts
- Maintain records of all account activity within Ricoh provided sales database and CRM tool
Requirements
- 5+ years business to business sales experience
- 2+ years advanced selling assignments experience
- 2+ years Digital Printing and Solutions sales experience
- Demonstrated skill in new business development
- Comprehensive knowledge of graphics arts, print for pay and commercial print industries
- In-depth knowledge of technology, connectivity and selling complex solutions
- In-depth knowledge of sales methodologies and processes
- Strong negotiation, written and oral communication, and presentation skills
- Proficient computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
Qualifications
- 4-year college degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- Minimum of five (5) years business to business sales experience with 2 years of advanced selling assignments, plus a minimum of two (2) years Digital Printing and Solutions sales experience. 5-7 years successful track record in capital equipment sales in the Digital Printing Solutions and/or Graphic Communications Industry is preferred.
