Production Associate

About This Role

Operate production equipment safely and produce quality products in a medical technology manufacturing environment. Perform quality checks, changeovers, SAP data entries, and basic troubleshooting while ensuring compliance with quality and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment in department safely and produce quality products per documentation
• Perform quality checks, changeovers, SAP data entries, and basic troubleshooting
• Ensure compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures and best practices, and all local, state, federal and BD safety regulations
• Perform visual inspections
• Achieve production rate and quality goals on assigned equipment
• Facilitate continuous operation of the equipment through breaks
• Perform rework
• Cross train where needed within the department to support the business
• Maintain all quality and GMP standards

Requirements

• Ability to operate production equipment safely
• Ability to perform quality checks and basic troubleshooting
• Ability to perform SAP data entries
• Ability to work effectively on own or in a team atmosphere
• Ability to maintain a neat, clean and orderly work area

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED preferred, or two years manufacturing experience (in lieu of diploma/GED)
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred; two years required if no high school diploma/GED.
