Product Manager - Woodyard

About This Role

Lead the Woodyard product line for Valmet's Pulp Energy and Circularity portfolio, serving as a technical expert to drive innovation, growth, and customer satisfaction in the pulp and paper industry. This role involves managing proposals, supporting customer troubleshooting, guiding product development, and contributing to strategic planning.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical expert and primary contact for the Woodyard product line
• Drive proposal development
• Support customers with troubleshooting and inquiries
• Collaborate across sales, engineering, field service, and manufacturing teams
• Guide product development
• Contribute to strategic planning for the Woodyard product line
• Help ensure exceptional customer satisfaction

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Strong technical communication skills
• Ability to read mechanical, hydraulic, and control drawings
• Solid understanding of pulp mill operations related to woodyard systems
• Customer-first mindset
• Strong organizational abilities
• Comfort managing shifting priorities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
