About This Role

This role involves conducting in-store food and non-food product demonstrations, engaging with consumers to highlight product features and benefits, and ensuring product sales and event execution.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire and maintain knowledge of products represented
  • Prepare, serve, and break down product, equipment, and supplies
  • Intercept and engage consumers, demonstrating products professionally
  • Maintain a professional appearance consistent with job requirements
  • Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner
  • Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product
  • Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances like microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives
  • Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe work station using cleaning chemicals
  • Properly set up and prepare Event Table for execution
  • Achieve 100% execution on assigned work
  • Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections
  • Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives
  • Complete expense reports as per Company Policy
  • Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as Event execution
  • Access the internet, navigate through company's electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents including Microsoft Word & Adobe PDF forms

Requirements

  • Ability to gain adequate knowledge of products
  • Desire and ability to proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer
  • Ability to effectively communicate product features and benefits
  • Ability to prepare and serve food samples using small appliances and knives
  • Ability to maintain a clean, sterile, and safe work station
  • Proficient in using and navigating a personal computer or personal mobile device with applications and internal systems

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months' related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Entry level to three months of related experience and/or training preferred

  • One to three months' related experience and/or training
