As a Registered Nurse (RN) at Unity Psychiatric Care, you will utilize your skills and experience to manage day-to-day hospital operations, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and care for patients from admission to discharge
- Carry out physician’s orders, complete clinical assessments, and initiate and update treatment plans
- Provide group and individual therapy/education to patients
- Provide treatment and interventions that may require restraints or seclusion
- Educate family members regarding medication administration and side effects, patient disorder characteristics, disease prevention and basic coping skills
Requirements
- One year of clinical nursing experience preferably in geriatrics and/or mental health
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a registered nursing degree
- Current state registered nursing (RN) license
