Provide high-quality nursing care and promote resident wellness, safety, and comfort at Tapestry Senior Living in Moon Township. This role involves leading and supporting care staff, conducting assessments, administering medications, and communicating with physicians and families.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care and promote resident wellness, safety, and comfort
- Lead and support care staff to ensure exceptional service and compliance with policies and regulations
- Conduct resident assessments and help develop or update care plans
- Administer medications, monitor health changes, and communicate updates to physicians and families
- Respond promptly to medical needs, emergencies, or changes in residents’ conditions
- Educate residents and families on health, wellness, and care procedures
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with state and community standards
- Participate in training, staff development, and performance feedback for care team members
- Ensure infection control and safety procedures are consistently followed
- Collaborate with the Resident Services Director and other team members to support overall community health goals
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of Pennsylvania, in good standing
- CPR/First Aid certification (must be maintained)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and support staff with a calm, solutions-focused approach
- Sensitivity and aptitude for working with residents, families, and team members
Qualifications
- 1+ years in assisted living or other related health care, 3+ years of geriatric experience preferred
